Taylor is a designer passionate about landscape’s ability to tell environmental and social history through the use of materials and their composition. She possesses a well-rounded skill set that includes drought adaptive planting, GreenShores®, and low-impact design. She has an extensive background working with culturally and archaeologically sensitive sites and embeds an awareness of Canadian heritage and diverse narratives on history into her projects. Taylor continuously grows her cultural understanding through her work with the Wild Bird Trust of BC on decolonial conservation and habitat restoration. Taylor believes that landscape design has the regenerative capacity to heal environmental harms, nurture communities and support biodiversity.
